Anybody have experience with this Mountain Laurel Designs tarp?

Thanx for the link do you think the duo is too much for solo camping?
Certainly not. For the very slight gain in weight, I would recommend the duo for solo camping. There is just that much more weather security and room for your kit. The Patrol Shelter pairs very nicely with both single and duo Serenity Shelters, as well as both versions of the Bug Bivy.
I’ve never thought I wish I had a smaller shelter during a thunderstorm.
For the weight of two big swallows of water I’d go with the duo
