I didn’t find packed dimensions on the MLD site. I just realized the 2017 Duomid is big enough for a 6’2” person. I’m trying to learn if it packs too big to work in the MLD Burn.

Mine in it’s supplied stuff sack is 6”x14”. Could be squished down 1/4 to 1/3 smaller.
Thanks Ken
Yep it starts off around the size of a loaf of sandwich bread and squishes down into a nice flat package about half as thick without much pressure. Or you can squish it lengthwise into an oblong cantaloupe shape. It’s easy to pack.
Maybe use a little bigger sack to allow it to go even flatter?
I’m really pleased with the packable size of my DuoMid. It can be folded, rolled up or stuffed into about any compact shape that I’ve tried.
Does anyone have the Duo InnerNet? Does this pack as small as the Mid?
@ken p – the stock sack is pretty loose. I like loose stuff sacks and I don’t feel a need to go looser
@steofan – my Solo XL inner is pretty bulky. I’d imagine the Duo inner would fit in a Duomid stuffsack but would fill it up more than the tarp itself. Just a guess…
Is everyone assuming Silnylon in the pack size in this discussion or is anyone referencing DCF?
Mine is silnylon. Have a 2014 Solomid XL with inner that I plan to use the inner with the new Duomid. They are sil as well.
sil for me too
I have a sil new doumid with a solo xl inner. I leave it attached and stuff the hole set in the stuff sack provided for the just the doumid and then stuff it in the pack. It can be stuffed small.
