They deserve their own thread ( and I am a little tired of my overly excited title to the other one)

It seems like I have no control of the order the pics are posted, even when I place the cursor where I want them. Oh well. I will make several posts .

This is a slowed down clip of the little guys running after mom. Love the jump!

The full clip but better turn the volume down because the internal noise of the camera is awful

I had no idea they were spotted.  VERY cool.

@Ben, yes, better camouflage I think.

@ Roger, really? I thought the video can be played right in the post and not just for me. Not sure what I can do to help….sorry.

Mom’s got her paws full. That’s so funny watching them run by..that middle one bouncing off the log…too cute! Thanks so much!

Hi Kat

Are you uploading Flash files? Modern browsers are startng to ban them due to the appalling number of security holes they have. They are promoting html5 instead.

Cheers

@Roger – Not Flash, since I don’t have Flash installed on my Mac and I can play the videos with no issues.

Maybe vimeo doesn’t like me. Sigh.
Do you run an ad-blocker?

Cheers
Roger

Curious.

Even more curious: the whole video downloads, and if I move the cursor across the bar at the bottom I can actually follow the video. It is all there. But it won’t play. Odd.

Going to the vimeo web site, I get the now-common warning that the format is Flash and the browser is blocking it. maybe vimeo does a format conversion after the video is uploaded? If so, they are going to lose their market quite fast.

Yes indeed. From the vimeo web site FAQ:
your video will look slightly different on Safari (which uses Vimeo’s HTML5 player and Apple’s QuickTime decoding software) from what you see on Firefox (which uses Vimeo’s Flash player, and Adobe Flash’s decoding software).
I am running Firefox.Vimeo needs to update.

Cheers

Sorry Roger. Looks like you figured out why you can’t watch these…it’s a bit over my head. All I know is I upload then from my ipad ( no Flash) to Vimeo.

Here is another one

I am taking off after work today for a solo overnight so….later :)

Me too.  Kat, I love your shots and videos of the little guys; what a rare treat to get these glimpses of them!

Kat:  You’ve become quite the camera stalker!   A great way to learn about wild critters.

Roger: The videos are playing fine for me using Win 10, Firefox 48.0.2 (there’s only one newer version of firefox … 49.0)

@Jim, thanks. Yes, this has been a great learning experience, which I combine with reading as much as I can about the animals I catch on camera. I am in awe of what surrounds us, so much of the time, and that awe is one of the ingredients to happiness for me.

@dk I didn’t think I would ever get the little guys but here they are. I feel very lucky!

@Ian
:) thanks!

@Farwalker
that little jump has made me smile over and over again :)

@Ken
