Let’s look into adding the lightbox feature (seen here: https://backpackinglight.com/dispatches/field-notes-backcountry-camping-in-wind/ ) to the forums so that members can produce trip reports (and other content) using full screen images with captions.
I do everything on my phone. It’s difficult to even add text or a second picture once a picture is loaded. I often accidentally delete pictures when trying. I don’t bother unless I’m home. Then only when I feel like messing with it. Text on the page disappears. Ads and all. It’s not Android friendly.
We have investigated the feasibility of implementing the lightbox editor. Unfortunately, we have found the lightbox feature is not compatible with the editing interface that members use.
Sorry, folks. This one isn’t going to happen.
