Im sure this has been beaten many times “but I have to say what I have to say and then I promise I will go away”.. I am loving my little Evernew Appalachian Set. The 500 ml titanium mug/pot with titanium dx stand. First of all I will say. That stand sort of sucks but i love it, lol. It doesnt block wind AT ALL, so i use a little custom titanium windscreen that I cut down so it nestles and packs inside the pot. I also just use the bottom of the stand with a small cheesey titanium foil esbit tray that I made ( no i wont show you that piece because it is pitiful) but it works perfectly. Anyway, the last 2 or 3 years I always took my trustworthy little 400 ml Ti-Tri with me. That too is perfect with esbit or twigs. This year i figured on my NPT hike I would be out for 7 or 8 nights so I wanted more variety of meals and some of them required a little more water then my beloved 400 ml set could provide. I picked up the Evernew 500 mug/pot and used it with my Soto Windmaster. So sweet to boil my water in what felt like mere seconds.. after hiking 20+ mile days. But then I wanted to use it with esbit and twigs so I gabbed the titanium dx stand set. I knew from reviews that is kind of blows.. but with the short windscreen i made and how I use it.. that thing is so sweet. It all packs inside the mug or pot? Lol.. tiny cup i would say. I used it this weekend and the first esbit and boil was for my dinner.. then a while later i used the other esbit to boil my evening decaf Mocha Galactic coffee ( thanks Bob M ). Perfect for my needs with nothing more or less. Its compact and it will never fail me when i need it. But winter is coming so I will need to be using my 1L set up soon. Just wanted to give some props to this little cook setup.

It is a nice setup (as long as you do not use the Evernew stove that it comes with). It packs well and is very light. It does need a windscreen, but your setup looks great.
I also like the Sterno Inferno cookset coupled with a 10-12 alcohol stove. I am sure that it could work with Esbit: not sure about soot accumulation on the HX end though.
I also like the Ti Wing Esbit stove with a lightweight Ti foil windscreen. All good systems. My 2 cents.

So there it all is. Weight with 3 esbits and without. The only thing I did not get in picture is the small round titanium base plate I cut out.. for sort of heat reflector and just a base even for small twig fires. It sits inside the pot on bottom when packed up and I forgot to take it out for the pictures, but it is in there. No I don’t use alcohol stove with it.. But if I did I would probably just use my kojin.
