You clicked block post first?

My procedure is:
Log in to BPL
Copy and paste a link to the clipboard
Verify that something is actually on the clipboard
Go to the bottom of the page and start typing into the box
Paste the clipboard contents–they do appear in the box
Click on SUBMIT
View the submitted content and see that the pasted link has completely vanished
It seems that I can paste general content but not a link.

Sorry, I do no know what block post is. KT, thanks for trying to enlighten me:)

Touch the ” above the text field to activate block post. Then paste in the greyed area. You can the select the block post again to get rid of the greyed area but your pasted copy should remain.

though I am not seeing a greyed area.

Edit: Better than nothing though I am not seeing an active link. Probably still not doing it correctly.

I am fatigued by fighting computers the last two weeks. First, trying to obtain a MT state lands recreation permit, a problem that turned out to be on their end. Again this morning trying to make a backcountry Glacier Park camping reservation–not certain that I was successful, terrible confirmation feedback.

I thought you trying to insert text. You need to use the insert link (looks like a chain link) icon above the text box. At least some times, not always.
