Last year I went from a self-inflating foam filled Thermarest to an REI FLASH Insulated air mattress (R 3.7 by new standard) and at 15 oz. it’s fine for 3 season use to 15 F. and nicely comfortable.

The REI FLASH mattresses (3 season and All Season at R 5.3) have top insulation of synthetic fiber and bottom reflective surface. Combined they seem to work well. Here’s fervently hoping REI has solved its delimitation problems reported about the early models.

Paul, I found my original Neo Air to be much colder then the Exped DownMat I had been using previously. In fact, I need to move to something with more insulation for even moderately cold nights (or at least figure out why my DownMats no longer hold air).
