I got one of the last Ibex Indie Hoodies made, and I like it a lot, but it’s a bit heavy and won’t last forever. I’ve been eyeing the Kuiu Peloton 97 Hoodie and wondered if anyone who has had both could chime in on the difference in warmth between the two. Thanks for any input!

I can’t answer your original question, but I think I heard that Ibex is back making clothes and is making the Indie again.
Yep, Ibex is back
I don’t have the Ibex, but I do have the kuiu and I love it for being on the move with a 120g wool layer underneath for mild winter hiking in 20-40f……what i like about it over most similar fleece layers is it has a tight enough weave that it is just wind resistant enough to not as frequently necessitate a windbreaking layer.
I have both, and frankly I don’t know if one is warmer than the other. They’re about the same.
One is wool and the other synthetic, and that makes far more difference in use than any minor difference in overall warmth.
Yeah, the quicker dry times and superior wicking of the Peloton is appealing for a lot of uses. I think I will pick one up, and odds are it will replace the Indie on a lot of trips. Thanks for the input! Also, for the record, my medium Indie weighs 10.67 oz., so cutting that weight essentially in half with the same (admittedly subjective) warmth is also appealing.
