Yeah but it’s high season for JMT hikers and others. I’m guessing there was quite the drenching, as well as crazy winds. Glad to miss it.

That’ll clear the trail. It’s usually a lot of rock hopping in that area. The water leaves a sand trail.
The PCT is just a bit to the west and does cross at one point. There shouldn’t be any thru hikers this time of year.

Typical lateral moraine in the background of the video. I find these impressive. Holy crap that boulder at around 3 minutes in is wild. The video keeps getting more impressive. Hmmm, I guess the storm wasn’t oversold after all.
But how was it on the JMT? any ideas?
