My husband needs to keep his feet elevated when he sleeps for health reasons. Any suggestions on a lightweight way to do that. He would need at least 2 or 3 camp pillows strapped together to get them where he prefers to keep them when he sleeps.

For a start you could put the semi empty backpacks under the mat .
Accept the 1-2 pound penalty of a free-standing or other more sturdy 3/4-season tent and hang a sling from the inside of the tent?
Or just seek the spots for a tent that no-one else wants 3 feet of flat space for his trunk and head plus an upslope for his legs.
3 or 5 1.9 once inflatable camp pillows would be a pretty light option. I’m imagining buttoning / velcro’ing them together in a way to create a saddle so his feet/calves don’t just roll off to the side.
Hammock
That’s a tall order (pun intended)
12 months ago I was early in a several weeks period of needing one leg elevated almost all the time after a patellar tendon rupture and repair.
David mentioned the rolling off the side issue … it is real.
Ken’s suggestion might be the best but I’m a ground sleeper so can’t comment more on that possibility.
I found that I having a support just under my ankle/foot so that my leg was an upward sloping bridge quickly became too uncomfortable for sleep.
How about the lightest cheapest inflatable pool flotation pad you can find plus some stick-on velcro circles/squares that hold it in a folded shape that approximates a wedge? (lightly inflated).
