This tutorial shows how I make and attach the S-curved, contoured shoulder straps for the Talaria ultralight backpack. The tutorial includes five YouTube videos showing each step of the process, a printable PDF file with all the sewing templates and detailed text instructions for attaching the straps to the backpack. There are probably faster and more efficient ways to make shoulder straps, but these are comfortable, versatile and appear to fit most people pretty well. If there’s interest, I may make a similar tutorial covering the entire Talaria backpack.
