Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’ll try. I moved to Belgium as an exchange student about a month ago. I am located in Leuven and I’m really having troubles finding some good information about hiking opportunities/rules/regulations. I know Belgium ain’t the hiker’s paradise, but if there are any areas close by in France/Germany that’s “easy” to reach by train from Brussels/Leuven that is also of interest. I brought all my equipment and would also like to know about the rules regarding tenting? Anyone know or can point in the right direction?
