I just received a Whisperlite Universal from Amazon, first one I’ve ever handled, and it doesn’t seem quite right. It came configured with the “UC” jet, for use with canister fuel, but I am trying to switch it over to using the “UG” jet, for use with white gas.
It was very difficult to slide out the UC jet from the base, and so far impossible getting the UG jet in, or the UC jet back in. I’m guessing it got banged in shipping and something is bent, as the jets fit loosely when not mounted in the generator tube.
Is this something I should try to bend back, assuming it’s bent, or send back, as it’s broken?
