Hi all, I can’t seem to find anything like this. My face will get cold while sleeping and if I had something to cover the bridge of my nose and cheeks I’d be much more comfortable. I’d prefer it not to cover my mouth or nose to let moisture escape.
Does something like this exist?
Jan 3, 2022 at 10:18 am #3736016Balacava?
Jan 3, 2022 at 11:39 am #3736026I’ve never seen a headband with the features you’re looking for. Sounds like you’re talking about a ski mask? I have one that has holes for my eyes and mouth, but not my nose. I suppose you could cut a hole if need be.
Jan 3, 2022 at 11:45 am #3736027Tubular buff pulled over your head, maybe? It’ll be hard to get your nose and cheekbones covered – and have the covering stay in place – without covering the nostrils… 🤔
Jan 3, 2022 at 1:42 pm #3736038maybe a surgical mask
trying to find something good from covid : )
Jan 3, 2022 at 2:06 pm #3736039Not a surgeon, but I’m pretty sure that surgical masks cover the nostrils and mouth…
Jan 3, 2022 at 2:52 pm #3736043It exists!
Jan 3, 2022 at 4:02 pm #3736047maybe the fact that the surgical mask covers the mouth would help keep your face warm
you could add goggles and it would be close to complete coverage
Jan 3, 2022 at 5:47 pm #3736053Try this, the Sockel (thanks to Chris Bell):

It is an essential piece of gear for me on winter trips now.
Jan 3, 2022 at 9:13 pm #3736063Lol this is actually the closest thing yet. I’m thinking about getting the Smartwool Merino 250 Reversible Headband. I didn’t really want to cover my eyes, but that might work out fine.
Thank you everyone for the replies, I’ll make sure to update with what ever I end up finding!
Mar 25, 2022 at 6:11 pm #3744225I apologize for not getting back to everyone on this. I ended up borrowing my mom’s Smartwool neck gaiter and it worked great for this purpose! I have long eye lashes so that occasionally got annoying, but was mostly fine over night and stayed in place. Kept my face much warmer.
