Did you hike with your brother?
I did. We weren’t quite dressed for how cold it was so we froze our butts off!
He did this hike himself a couple of weeks ago when the weather was gorgeous. There was a Ranger in the lookout tower that day who baked chocolate chip cookies for those hiking all the way up. The tower was closed and locked today, so I told my brother he owed me some home baked chocolate chip cookies!
Of course I was joking, but he texted his wife when we got back to the car (without me knowing), so when we walked back into his house, there was a plate full of fresh baked cookies! They were delicious! :-)
Nice. I was a bit jealous of my friends who also made it up there on cookie day. I’ve never managed to visit when the lookout was actually open.
