Ontario provincial park backcountry sites are heavily used and hammered down, guaranteeing that even the best site selection will be in a depression collecting rain water and draining slowly. This has led to some interesting challenges keeping the inside of my tents dry.

What are your experiences sitting in puddles for extended periods without leaking and what was your floor made of?
My 3.8 lb canoe tent (MEC spark 2) with lowly 2500HH PU nylon floor seams to survive puddle play.
My v2 Durston Xmid2 would leak through the floor and was IIRC 20D Sil/PE Nylon 2500mm HH. My v3 Durston Xmid1 is 15D Sil/PE Nylon 3500mm HH and last week got the stress test of sitting in several inches deep water in Algonquin Western Uplands for what I figured was at least 5 hours over night while I slept through a thunderstorm. There was no pooling in the tent (unlike the 2) but water seeped evenly through the floor under the pressure of my Nemo Tensor, soaking its underside, despite the higher HH rating than the Spark. Both have been babied and used with footprints (polycro backcountry, tyvek canoeing or front country).
Wondering if the difference is materials, manufacturing or something else, and if the possibility even exists of a <26oz tent that can sit for 6-8 hours in a puddle under me and my mattress without leaking? Leery of doing to a Dyneema floor due to abrasion wear concerns.
