So my wife took my black diamond soloist gloves skiing and lost them.  Instead of replacing them, I’ve thought about putting together a mitten system instead.  I have some BD liners and Borah Gear event shells.  I just need to find some decent fleece mid weight mittens.  Despite searching high and low online, I haven’t been able to find any.  Any suggestions?  The OR PL400 seemed to be popular but I can’t find any in stock.  I’d rather not spend a lot of money on these unless I have to.  Any suggestions on where to look?

I was excited to find them,  unfortunately they only have two sizes in stock and didn’t respond to my inquiry about when they might have more stock.

I own a pair from Zpacks and they’re pretty decent

Unfortunately, zpacks doesn’t make them anymore.

Do a search for fleece mittens on Etsy, lots of stuff comes up.

Also, for backpacking/hiking (not skiing), you might consider the insulated pogies that Yama Mountain Gear sells (though they’re not cheap at $60). I really like mine, very versatile.

Thanks for the suggestion Doug.  Never really been on etsy but I’ll check it out.
