Were you looking for the Gore ePe-patent ? Search then for US2021/0332202 A1.
The discussion of Gore’s new ePE (expanded polyethylene) waterproof/breathable laminate starting at 1:04:15 in the video/podcast has gotten an update at GearJunkie if anyone cares. The environmental impact seems to the the point of the new material, not so much its performance during use.
