Aug 30, 2024 at 8:48 pm #3817255On the subject of guylines, do you have a favorite tensioner to use? I’m wondering how some of those ultra light linelocs actually work in the field. Thanks.
Aug 31, 2024 at 8:14 am #3817275My favorite tensioner is a taut line hitch. I do find linelocs slightly more convenient and have never had trouble with them. I think a hitch may hold better in stronger winds. On the other hand, I want my tensioner or my stake to fail before my tent does. Mostly I find them unnecessary.
