So I’m having a custom carry-on duffel/backpack made in XPAC.
I’d prefer to use VX-42, due to the increased abrasion resistance. I will be lugging this through airports. However, the colour choices for VX-42 are quite limited – basically it’s black or white:

There’s also a VX-42 light-grey, but from what I can see online, it’s essentially just white (e.g. Seek Outside in Light Gray VX-42)
If I downgrade to VX-21, I get more colours – e.g. gray:
So say I stick to VX-42 – between the black and white, which would you prefer?
I’m not too worried about the white getting dirty (which would normally be a practical issue with say Cordura) since it’s sail-cloth, and should be reasonably easy to wipe-down, and it doesn’t really stain.
Or do you dislike the black/white enough to go for the gray in VX-21?
