Many feet of snow, mile after mile of snowfield navigation, lake ice deteriorating and too thin for crossing, streams getting larger but easy to cross.
Spring conditions, have fun.
FYI, new permit system lets you pay more to print at home and drive to your trailhead of choice.
Suitable snow for anyone thinking of doing the desolation high route.
