“I had to laugh though, at BPL’s “how not to waste money at REI” piece. I didn’t know there was a sale until I saw the headline. Nice work!”

 

I did too.  I didn’t know about the sale until BPL told me I shouldn’t spend any money at it.  Creative.  Go broke saving money indeed.

When Safeway feels compelled to tell me that I “save $12 today” on my $35 purchase, I feel compelled to point out that I could have saved $35 if I’d just stayed home.

I’ve been a member since 1986 and this has been the rule and understood. REI is a CO-OP and a wonderful place to spend your money. Just understand your 10% dividend is only on regular priced items.
