I guess it must have been since it had had no contact with water for over a week.
Most of the time my filter-Befree and Sawyer, dry out in between trips and won’t allow any flow. 24hr soak with distilled water brings them back to pre-dry out flow.
Thanks Brad, that’s good to know. Maybe the citric acid is overkill and risks damaging the filter, so I’ll try the distilled water first next time.
