Oops, something went wrong!
Jul 20, 2018 at 3:56 am #3547587Looks rather like some silly idiot playing around with a can of white gas to me.
Regardless of the actual fuel involved, I suggest that ‘idiot’ is the key message here.
Curious that whoever was filming did not seem especially fussed about it all.Cheers
Jul 20, 2018 at 11:16 am #3547616It’s propane, nice and clean burning. Volunteer firemen being trained to put down fires that may occur at sites that use large tanks of propane for home use. I filmed it. Just thought I’d post it to get your attention. You seem to be the only one aroundÂ
Jul 20, 2018 at 1:55 pm #3547632close up would have been better : )

In which case referring to ‘canisters’ could be deliberately deceptive, which is not good.Saying from local Bush Fire Brigade (I was a member):
“Q: What steps do you take in case of a propane tanker spill?
A: Very long ones.”Cheers

Jul 20, 2018 at 11:22 pm #3547724Boy Scouts. white gas stoves, speed contest – bad idea
Jul 21, 2018 at 12:40 am #3547737re Boy Scouts
You know what I would insist on that example?
That the boys lighting the stoves remove their scarves! They are dangling flammable material over a flaring stove.Yeah, speed competitions are just a bad idea. They encourage kids to cut corners.
Cheers
