Hi all, I wrote up a long list with narratives for the gear I believe to be the best for Alaska’s environment and climate. I wanted to share it with you because you may be interested in the layering system or other items. Let me know what you think. Any areas for improvement?

Brilliant. Detailed, well-argued (bonus; based on extensive experience!), and comprehensive. I have my own fave items that I would substitute here and there, but the overall approach is dead on. Thanks for putting that together.
