Max is passionate about global environmental sustainability and loves spending time in wild places. He has climbed a variety of technical routes on North America’s tallest and most aesthetic peaks, and traveled through myriad valley by foot and, with limited skill, packraft. Max studied environmental science in college and environmental policy and planning in graduate school. He currently works with Alaska Native communities imminently threatened by climate change to help with their adaptation efforts.
