Trekkertent Stealth 1.5 in silpoly! I can’t wait. I loved my Contrail, but didn’t always want/need the net and floor. This will basically be a two piece Contrail of sorts with better venting capabilities as I purchased the lower end door option. Woohoo! I just hope it’s everything I think it is.

Santa brought me the best present of all: time.

I asked Santa for a fat bike with a Rohloff hub and he told me to get off his lap and six kids chased me half way down the mall. Bah humbug!

Jeff Eleven, I can only provide plans, photos and encouragement for your Scarp project. I presume you’ve seen the photos of my modified Scarp 2 in the “Winter Hiking” section of BPL. “Winterizing” your Scarp is a worthwhile project that greatly increases its usefulness and safety in bad weather.

Dale, you richly deserved to be chased by those kids. A fat bike is beyond Santa’s current budget as he, like most of us, is still recovering form the Great Recession. That’s why you see him only driving a little two-seater Mercedes!
