Thinking about this a bit.
If someone says to not follow the established advice, social distancing, but to use some folk remedy instead, that is horrible advice. Unleash the internet hoards on that person.
If someone says to do social distancing, but if you get sick, describes folk remedies that might help – it’s harmless as long as there aren’t side effects. And as long as they’re acknowledged to be non scientifically verified.
Steve Jobs regretted that when he got cancer, he tried some alternative therapies for a while that didn’t help. Then he tried the established therapies but his cancer was progressed. Maybe, if he had done the established therapy immediately, there would have been a different outcome.
Stay 6 feet away from other people
If you touch something that someone else could have touched or sneezed on, don’t touch your face until you’ve washed your hands.
