“Bikepackers, light packers and peak baggers, meet our lightest 1-person yet: the REI Co-op Flash Air 1 tent. You can pitch it with its own poles—or your trekking pole—and weighs only 1 lb. 4 oz.”

Feb 9, 2020 at 3:25 pm #3630587To give you an answer that’s about as informative as your thread title – yes, I have some thoughts.
Feb 9, 2020 at 5:53 pm #3630598Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Feb 10, 2020 at 4:02 pm #3630736That’s about as light as any similar one of those kinds of tents. I suppose a lot of people would feel good about being able to go to REI for assistance with it.

Feb 11, 2020 at 3:46 pm #3630849Working for REI? Inquiring minds…

Feb 18, 2020 at 5:27 am #3631892Nice find on the photos Franco.
I have to be honest…that is one of the strangest little tents I have ever seen. One offset pole and a brow extension? The low triangular end vents in the bathtub floor? And those little fly wings at each end?
Will be very interested to hear from people using it.
