I am heading out to Vermont in late June. Instead of backpacking, I was thinking about canoe camping as there are not a lot of places to do that in California. Has anyone here canoed the Green River Reservoir in Vermont? Any insight would be great.

Hmm haven’t done that but looks like the perfect opportunity to carry along some beers from all the great breweries around there… alchemist, Lawson’s, hill farmstead…
Think of canoe camping as “car camping light”. ;o)
You can bring a roll of paper towels, UL chairs, a folding saw, he!!, even BEER! YAY!
