Several days ago couldn’t upload images to Forum posts with Safari under MacOS Mojave.

So I performed a clean re-install of “fully updated” Mojave. Safari image uploads to Forum posts worked again, and I thought all was right with the world.

Then MacOS said it needed half-a-dozen updates. WTF? OK, need to stay secure.

Now Safari can’t upload images to Forum posts again, and other weird stuff is back. For example, .webloc files in Finder have blank icons, not the usual @ sign icons. And some other web sites are unhappy in random ways.

Apple completely blew it with the November Mojave updates.

Might need to take the leap to MacOS Big Sur on a five-year-old laptop. At least Firefox works for now, but doesn’t solve some other problems.

Upgrade to Big Sur succeeded, and so did this image upload. Hoping no new problems.
