My packs are:
3 SEASON-> Osprey EXOS 58 (size L, 61 L.)
WINTER-> Deuter Air Contact Light 65+10
Additions:
1. SIDE POCKETS-> for better organization i.e. 1st Aid, water treatment kit, stove and fuel, potty kit, toilet kit
2. “WET RIB” FRONT POUCH-> suspended off lower shoulder strap webbing – map & compass, GPS, bug repellant, mini headlamp, snacks, electrolyte bike bottle (in attached  bottle pouch) Light “Seek Outside” pouch on EXOS, heavier Dana Wet Rib on Deuter.
3.CAMERA POUCH->on left shoulder strap
Yes, a few more ounces but far better organization for easy accessibility. I’ve tried a “naked pack” and don’t like it. Too much digging around in the main compartment for small items.
