Hi Franco
OK.
Sigh – that was a 'few' years ago!Cheers
Mar 21, 2015 at 1:28 am #2184678First time setting up the notch was in the field. Not a perfect pitch, but its certainly not hard like some people make it out to be.
This was the first of only two times using it, the second I forgot trekking poles and had to use sticks.

I like the relatively small footprint.
Doesn't matter when you have lots of room…
..but sometimes you don't!

I do a lot of my backpacking in Minnesota and am thinking about moving up to a Moment DW because of the condensation. Have you noticed a difference in the amount of condensation between the two?Mar 22, 2015 at 2:07 pm #2184988Mar 22, 2015 at 3:32 pm #2185005NASA didn't want you to see the real photo from the 2004 Mars Rover landing site but we filed a Freedom of Information Act Request and, after 10 years of furious legal struggles, it was finally approved.

Mar 22, 2015 at 6:09 pm #2185047My main TT experience:
My five-year-old daughter likes to watch the seam sealing instruction video on the TarpTent website at bedtime. Helps her fall asleep. Go figure.
Mar 22, 2015 at 6:34 pm #2185059Troy,
your two Moments remind me of Mt Elbrus (look up the name)
I was reading about that just yesterday.Katherine,
I always thought that I have the most soporific TT videos.
It is with great sadness in my heart that I hear your daughter prefers Henry's version.
If I tried any harder I would be falling asleep whilst filming, so I am not to sure what to do to win her favours.(no link , I don't want to stunt her growth)

Don't despair…yet. Link to yours? I recall seeing one of them once, but she has not!

Apr 29, 2015 at 3:16 pm #2195639Please excuse the loose pitch I couldn't get the stakes into the hard gravel road base and had to use rocks to hold the stakes down. Despite this, this tent is remarkably easy to pitch. I did miss the ease of pitching a traditional tent inner only as the stars were fantastic on this trip. I think I will still likely get a Copper Spur UL2 for those trips where the weather is likely to be nice and of course when a second person were coming along.

By the way, great camp shots!
