4-day winter backcountry trip

How much winter backcountry experience do you have?

How about doing part of the condor trail. I haven't hiked it but it is on my to do list and looks like it has lots of fun features/geography.

Lori – I've been on 5-6 backcountry winter trips and have all the gear necessary to keep dry / warm. I'd also be going with a friend with about the same level of experience.

It's good that you recognize how foolish it was, I've certainly done some incredibly stupid things myself, learning from those past mistakes is important, so I'm glad to see you seem to have.

I would humbly suggest that you edit that video, or remove it, and any like it, because otherwise some people who view it will think it's okay to do such things and will follow your bad example. FWIW.
