Amazon has a $15 off coupon for the SteriPEN Freedom right now. That brings the price down to $52.68.

Hi Robert,

Do you knoww what the coupon code is?

Much appreciated,

Stephen

There’s no code, but you have a buy it from Amazon directly, not a third party seller (which at the moment is the default, because before the coupon they’re a few cents cheaper than Amazon). You’ll see a button on the product page and/or in your cart that you click on to “clip” the coupon.

Try this link instead, it should take you directly to the right page.

EDIT: nope, seems like that doesn’t work either. Just click on “other sellers” or “26 new from $62.97” and pick the Amazon option, you can click the coupon from your cart.

Thanks Robert. Trying to finalize my choice between the Freedom and the Ultra and this certainly helps.

I had to pull the trigger on this deal. After using the coupon code on top of the already significant discount, my final cost with tax was only $55.71. For that much I'm willing to try this form of water treatment. Thanks Robert for pointing out this deal.

Mine arrived today, I was unable to use the coupon.
I was surprised its half the size of my first edition
"Steam powered" steripen.

Excellent! Thanks for the heads-up. I've always wanted to try one of these.

Got mine, it's so small, and it charges on a micro USB.

I am thinking I will use a Sawyer mini to filter and then the steripen
to nuke it.

Does anyone know how long it will hold its charge if it's just sitting in the closet? Is there an indicator of how much charge is left on it?

The instructions say to top off the battery every 3-6 months when the device is in storage. It will tell you when it needs a charge as well. Blinking led, but seems simple enough.

Just got mine. Love how much smaller it is. Fits in the Baby Nalgene neck. Sweet. Dip, stir, drink.
