We have been working on our own pad attachment system for our popular selling Flight Jacket Top Quilts. Keeping the quilt on top of the pad without tucking the quilt under the pad is an important feature of any back packing quilt. After working through several design options we have a fully functional production system ready to go.
It’s a rather simple system and involves 3/32″ shock cord, micro cord lock, and a custom attachment clip we have manufactured for UGQ. The system is effective, quick to install, extremely light weight (14g a pair), and does not interfere with comfort.
All of our quilts shipped starting November 1, 2014 have the required attachment loops and the optional Quilt Anchor System will be added to the website November 3, 2014. Quilts shipped and manufactured prior to November 1, 2014 will need a simple, easy to install, mod that we are finalizing to utilize the Quilt Anchor System.
