Excalibur dehydrator $180 at Costco.com

In the market for a dehydrator. Do you think you can put a link up? or a model name? Having trouble finding it. Thanks.

It's a 5-tray model and includes some liner sheets, mylar bags, and handbook.

Sale hasn't started yet, I see it in a flyer I got in the mail the other day.

Personally I've been pleased with my Nesco, which cost me under $50. But I know many consider the Excalibur to be better so thought to post this.

I think that many of us mortals use one model or another from Nesco, for prices of about $50 to $70.

I couldn't be happier with my Excalibur dehydrator.

I have the 9 tray with timer.

I also bought extra Paraflexx Sheets when I purchased mine so I could dehydrate more gravies and home made fruit rollups at one time.

The timer makes dehydrating much easier.

The price in the Costco link is either the old amount, or has changed. At the time of this post, it says $199.99.

You can buy them on the Excalibur company website, but it's $249.95 for the same one which also comes with free shipping but also a 10 year warrantee (used to be a lifetime warrantee). In the event of repairs, you contact the company by phone, describe the problem, and then you only pay shipping of the replacement parts, which are easy to replace. Also, their current special is:

The only knock I have with the Nesco ones is the need to regularly rotate the trays and the food on the trays in order to get even dehydrating results. They are, however, much less expensive.

So, depending on your volume of usage, your desire to have hassle free dehydrating, and your budget, you could go with either one.

Correct, that is the regular price at Costco.com. As stated, the sale starts Monday…

dehydrator = great Craigslist item in my experience
