My pack suffered a minor injury recently requiring repair and I wanted the job done by the manufacturer. I sent it in accordance with Zpack’s instructions on late Monday afternoon from California via USPS. The Arc Blast returned to Costa Mesa on Friday afternoon all the way from Palm Bay, Florida. It must have been pulled from the box within minutes of delivery, repaired and sent back that same day. Additionally, one of the mesh side-pockets had been chewed up by critters seeking the food wrapper left carelessly and was not part of the repair request but Zpacks replaced it without even mention. All of this without cost to me. Even though this company has been hailed here many times for it’s superb customer service, it would be robbery not to publicize and give credit to Zpacks for receipt of the best a company can do to satisfy and please it’s customers.

Nothing but good things to say myself. I really love that they're continuing to refine and improve things too.

Yep, Zpacks sets a pretty high bar for any company, not just a cottage brand. ULA right up there with them.

Can't say enough good things about them. They will always work with you!

I had mulitiple orders with them last winter/spring. They got it all right, even when I asked to have a last minute request put with a different order. Confusing to me on Paypal, but the items arrived in time frame stated. Get your order in early, as they get busy.

They are great. On par with MLD, Tarptent, Mchale, HMG, and Enlightnened Equipment.

They are hands down one of the best people to do backpacking with, not many companies even pale in comparison actually.

Totally agree! They have done an outstanding job with all of my interactions with them… which has been a few… :) Definitely a top notch company though when it comes to both, their gear, and their customer service…

Zpacks continues to disappoint me. Every time I order something from them, they get all "hey we received your order and we're working on it" within minutes. Then they get all crazy with updates and meeting the deadlines they post on their websites and in their emails.

And yeah… if I have a question… they go and answer it.

Then they have the nerve to send me items which meets or exceeds reasonable expectations.

Oh it gets worse.

When I ask them to modify an item, like adding netting to my Hexamid Twin tarp, you can never tell that it didn't have it to begin with.

How am I supposed to transition to cantankerous-old-manhood when they don't give me anything to complain about? I've already scared all the kids off of my lawn.

Yeah, my recent purchase, as with all my interactions with Joe and Matt have been top notch. I don't want to load any unfair expectations on them, but I put in an order for a duplex on friday, hoping to get it in time for a birthday overnight this weekend with my girlfriend…it just shipped out and it'll get here in time! My GF has never been backpacking, so I don't want to risk getting caught in a storm in my hexamid with her. So impressed with the turn around time. This is to say nothing of the broad range of innovative designs that Joe has come up with. Top notch.

"Top notch."

Notch is from a different brand.

I've ordered a pack, a bunch of material and a hexamid from them and they've always bent over backwards in every regard.

My only beef is they keep coming up with new things I want.

A few weeks back on the HST to Precipice I counted 6 different people with Arc Blasts in one day.

They added a web belt to my zero backpack with FAST turnaround. What a great crew!
