I'm mostly past it, when it comes to colour selection. If I want something and it's cheaper, I'll generally buy it, regardless of colour.
Mind you, I do have a liking for the Black Mamba Quilts, they look good hot.

My WM 3 season down bag is a swell dark maroon color and I had matching PJs made for it.;o)
My present 3 season pack is an older REI UL 60 two-tone green (olive and avocado) and I like it B/C its natural colors blend in. But I really want an Osprey EXOS 58 and don't particularly like the mainly black color nor the odd green design. But I'll take it to get the greater comfort. I don't know od any pack that weight or lighter that is as comfortable (for me).
