"I'm okay with being directly associated with shit, but with Rupert Murdoch? That's just low, man."

I don't know if the name caught on in the U.S., but Rupert's nickname in the U.K. was "The Dirty Digger" – he owns The Sun and The News Of The World, two unscrupulous tabloids that would go to any lengths to dig up salacious shit on public figures. It seems like the perfect nickname for a potty trowel – although perhaps not quite what Lawson was looking for! It would be awesome for a cottage manufacturer of potty trowels to get a "cease and desist" letter from Murdoch's very expensive lawyers.

I like Aaron's Tie Potty Trowel idea.
The name fits in with the rest of Lawson's names like "backpacker Grill," etc…

The only thing I might add is I like

TP TROWEL
T(i) P(otty) Trowel

a wee bit better

If you've ever been through company, product and feature naming — it can be a real drag. Crowdsourcing may be a better way. Obvious and explanatory names may be best for search engine optimization – but that can be done other ways too – and you can still have a fun name.

Here are a few: The first one is a favorite.

Titanium hand shovel — TiHS

Lawson Potty Trowel

Potty Trowel Titanium – PoTTi

Lawson Pit Stick

Lawson Outdoor Equipment Titanium Cathole Trowel — LOE TiCaT
Laswon Titanium Cathole Trowel – L TiCaT
Titanium Cathole Trowel – TiCaT

Lawson Outdoor Equipment Titanium Hand Trowel — LOE TiHaT or LOE THT
Laswon Titanium Hand Trowel – L TiHaT or LTHT
Titanium Hand Trowel – TiHaT or THT

Since it looks simply beautiful, I’ll keep the name simple:

"LE Scoop" [LE w/ the nice double entendre of Lawson Eq]

"BCT" – Back Country Trowel [rhymes w/ PCT]

"Grave Digger"

"Featherweight Scoop"

Gerald's "Go2" made me LOL

Kudos Lawson on the new item

>"That made me laugh out loud!"

I was trying to channel my inner Doug.

And then a commercial:

Burly backpacker quickly digs a cathole with Lawson's Ti Trowel, drops his drawers and squats, looking into the camera and still holding the trowel, when a hand reaches from off camera to grab the trowel. The camera pans to a woman who, while digging her own cathole, says "Manly, yes, but I like it too!"

A dapper, graying Latin man is shown bullfighting, tango dancing, and scaling Mount Blanc. Afterwards, he faces the camera and says, most interesting man
