This might interest a few people. In July, Marco at As Tucas (a small lightweight gear maker in Spain) made a prototype cuben door for my Trailstar. Details here: https://blogpackinglight.wordpress.com/2014/07/24/as-tucas-trailstar-door-prototype/

Marco has now put this into production and it is suitable for other tarps with a similar triangular entrance. Details here: https://astucas.com/en/gear/arazas-curtain

It weighs 25g and protects the porch from wind driven rain as well as providing some privacy on a camp site.

Disclosure: although I designed the door, I have no formal or financial relationship with As Tucas, nor do I benefit from any sales.

That is very useful!

I've seen the trapezoid-shaped ones and I like yours even better.

Oh, and you can shed the weight of two stakes if you move the base toward the opening and utilize the shelter's front stakes.

The reason for angling the door in is to get better protection. Two titanium toothpick style stakes weigh 2g and are adequate.
