    I've often wished my hiking poles served another use (even though they're already doing dual duty as walking aids and tarp support). The Zubin multi-tool survival staff takes that idea and runs with it.

    A hickory staff and 440 stainless attachments for $320

    Best of luck to them.

    I'll wager we are not the target demographic.

    What's the legality of hiking with a spear?

    Concealed, or open carry?

    $64 for spearhead alone.

    Bob, good luck concealing that.

    So let's say open carry.

    @ffmike

    In Indiana I'm allowed to hunt for Asian Carp (among other things) with a spear, so presumably I can hike with it. Never all that far to the river around here.
