I haven’t seen anything posted about the 2014 Outdoor Fair in Europe yet. Here are some articles from Hiking in Finland:

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Things I thought were interesting:

Day 2: some details on the Thermarest EvoLite and a relatively light tent from Hilleberg (at 1.1 kg, could be competitor to Tarptent’s Moment DW)

Day 3: Haglofs has a new sleeping bag feature which would make the Feathered Friends Vireo more versatile (you can open the footbox, no zipper otherwise), Nemo Blaze 2P tent (910g minimum weight), several new sleeping pads from Exped (down mats and self-inflating), and an external frame Cuben fiber backpack from Vargo

Regarding Haglofs bag: apparently I'm the only person who thinks being able to vent your feet at night would be nice :)

I do suppose the idea may not be new though.

John,

Foot venting at night is very important to me because my feet are almost always too hot at night…particularly for the first few hours of sleep.

I think we are in the minority, however. I posted the question (anyone else have hot feet at night?) here once and no one said yes.
