What a great vid…and the music choice was good too.
Thanks for filming and sharing.
I see you managed to visit East Lake, and even a view of Mount Brewer squeezed in there.

What camera did you use? Seems like there's some good image stabilization on the video.
Hi Bob, yes East Lake may have been the highpoint of the hike. We did it as a day hike from Junction Meadow and didn't have enough daylight left to make it to Lake Reflection, which a few guys told me is even better, but that almost doesn't seem possible.
Christopher, it's a Nikon AW100, waterproof point and shoot. The stabilization on the camera is "ok". iMovie does the real work of stabilizing the shots I was breathing too heavy to hold still for. I also carry an ultra pod mini when I have time to use it for a really nice still shot. I'd prefer to do that for all, but sometimes there just isn't time.
Very Nice,
thanks for sharing.
Great video, it brought back a lot of memories. As expected, snow loads are extremely low. Thanks for sharing!
Nice work on the video! Sure is a beautiful place. Love the music choice too.
"Lake Reflection"
Lake Reflection is very nice from above, but I found that it was best at dawn (sun in the east shining on peaks to the west). East Lake seemed nice in the afternoon, but not if you are shooting toward Mount Brewer. On some years, the Bubbs Creek crossing at Junction Meadow is a real bear. The water can be up to the belly of a horse.
