Hey y’all!

My other half and I are about to go for a long walk from Maine to Georgia. Our train leaves today actually (!!!), and I figured I’d share our Web site with those interested. Currently there are a few posts from our transcontinental bicycle trip we finished in April, but there will be more posts along the way.

Perambulatory and passionate, here’s the link:

Till later, ciao ciao!

Great! Thanks Michael!
In Millinocket, Maine now after long train and bus rides. Definitely feeling the itch to get into the woods!

Made it through our first state crossing a few days ago and have been hunkering down through some storms before heading into the Whites. Here’s a new post with photos from our first few weeks in Maine:

Thanks so much, Ryan! We are now in Vermont.
Maine and the Whites, though tough, were absolutely amazing! Looking forward to the south, for sure :)

On November 20th at 9:30 PM, after hiking a 32 mile day, we officially arrived at the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail on Springer Mountain in Georgia. This makes our thru-hike a success!

3 months and 3,500 miles of bicycling across the country from California to Florida, followed by 5 months and 2,185 miles of hiking the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia…a total of 22 states for the year 2014! Wooo!

Now, time to be plops! :)

Andy, Ian, Buck…thank y'all!
It's still all soaking in. There's so much inside that is waiting to surface and be integrated into the world; I feel like I could explode!
