creating holes in ccf pad

I thought about also adding vertical gaps, but thought I would start with this verision and see how it work. Hopefully it will enhance a cross breeze not just allow air in.

I plan on using this new pad with a gossamer gear gorilla backpack which already comes with pad holders. I was just toying with the idea to increase the airflow and hopefully decrease back sweat.

A beautiful piece of work! You might also try comparing it with a (piece of) a Thermarest Zseat/Zpad. The continuous waffle pattern might also give some good ventilation. Keep us all advised!
