I want an Evazote pad for $17 CAD off of MEC, but I don't want to pay the $5 membership fee if shipping is going to be outrageous because of the border crossing. Is it worth the membership plus the shipping to get the $17 evazote pad, or is there a better way?
I tried a Gossamer Gear pad but found them to be not as durable as I would like.
Their T2 long sleeve zip hoody (9 ounces) was $20US for shipping.
Yuck.
I guess I'll suffer the 5oz and get a longer Z-Lite…

ProLite Gear has their own Evazote Pads:

They currently only seem to be available in 1/4'' thickness (although there used to be more choices). I'm not sure how durability compares to the Gossamer Gear ones.

Just FYI, McMaster-Carr has "water and tear-resistant" EVA foam sheets available. 29" x 47", thicknesses from 1/8" to 1".
