Appreciate any help that anyone can offer. Doing a trip in Kings Canyon soon but want to know if it's possible to camp somewhere along the way? The catch is we may not get to camp until the late evening or so. Will be going in via 180 out of Fresno.

There are national park campgrounds by Grant's Grove. There is a national forest campground at the turnoff to Hume Lake, and another at Hume Lake. There are a couple national park campground in Kings Canyon itself, and a "hotel" at Cedar Grove.
Check the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park website, and the Sequoia National Forest website for info.
