Here is a really good PCT movie put together by a BPL member from his thru hike, Walking the West 1 , Walking the West 2 is a good PCT movie(he has it in two parts for you tube)that won awards when it came out.Simon Cook’s movie on vimeo hiking the CDT in 2008. Here are some threads on books people suggest,and more ,I really enjoyed this book by Lawton “Disco” Grinter.

I just finished watching these last night. Having a play list would have saved some swearing. He has the perfect temperament for trail life.

I found "The cactus eaters" pretty enjoyable, its about a PCT hike.

I also found "Between an rock and a white blaze" pretty good, husband wife AT hike, wife point of view. Very well written book.

Disco's book "I hike" is short stories from his hiking, pretty entertaining.
