That's about 49C for you metric types.

Jun 29, 2013 at 5:48 pm #2000910Night hike?
Jun 29, 2013 at 6:00 pm #2000911Even the night temperatures would be unpleasant.

Jun 29, 2013 at 6:58 pm #2000924It was 105 here and I was working outside all day. What difference does 15 degrees make?
Jun 29, 2013 at 7:21 pm #2000930A huge amount of difference. Dry 105F is about the upper limit for me. You feel the difference even going to 110, and that is after 18 years of N SLO county summers where 100-105 is common and unremarkable. 115 is just an unremitting furnace. I haven't gone any higher than 117 but didn't find it the most agreeable.

The difference is exponential.
Jun 29, 2013 at 7:36 pm #2000934That was sarcasm.
The hottest I have experienced was working landscaping for a week when it was about 110 every day. My body eventually got used to it and stopped bitching at me, didn't really notice it much. I always feel the hottest when transitioning from spring to summer.I have experienced 120-130 getting into a closed car and it feels like the air temperature is burning my skin.
